http://www.myboxingcoach.com - In keeping with the previous 90 second boxing tips, this video is all about getting results. No gimmicks, no 'bells and whistles', no window dressing. This simple boxing footwork tip works; it brings results. Implement what you see in this video. Build this into your boxing drills, build it into your shadow boxing, build it into your heavy bag work, your sparring and your competitive bouts - it brings results! Moving towards and away from an opponent is something that is a fundamental part of boxing. Mobility of this type is as critical a skill as you will learn, so do it properly. This boxing footwork skill is in fact the very first that I teach a person new to boxing. In this video I describe two methods of using boxing footwork to get in and out. The first method is designed to enable ground to be covered quickly. The second method is designed to enable a platform for explosive 'edge of range' punching - a counterpunching staple if you like. For a detailed view of moving in and out check out this video: http://www.myboxingcoach.com/footwork-moving-in-and-out/ For something that will drive improvements in your counterpunching, check out this video: http://www.myboxingcoach.com/avoid-punches-counterpunching/ Comments and questions as always are most welcome: Cheers Fran
