In a twist on the classic "Beauty and the Beast" tale, Isabelle is all beauty--on the outside. A glamour-queen socialite, she spends her days spoiling herself and spending money like it's going out of style. When she injures herself and gets lost in an isolated winter land, she stumbles onto the solitude of Jeremy, a man hiding from both the world and his past. He's the first person to put Isabelle in her place, and she realizes that she might be more beast than she wants to admit. Through Jeremy's influence, she begins to change--and fall in love. But will she revert to the beast and give up her chance at real love when she returns home?

The attitudes and behaviors of materialistic rich people do not entertain me, but as this movie went along, the lead character's spoiled and selfish outer shell began to melt as she warmed up to her love interest who spoke truth and gave her a dose of tough love which humbled her enough to find real love and happiness didn't come from her bank account. Worth the watch.
Acting okay; premise of rich girl brat a bit over the top... Love interest in mountain cabin making birdhouses and was doing a good job. ; also no animals other than a few muffled growls in the woods 'Beauty' wants best of everything but supposedly Five Star resort from which she wanders never seems to wonder why she doesn't return -- for two whole weeks! If this is what 'rich and famous' gets a single female traveler in the way of security maybe traveling coach isn't such a bad deal. ..... Don't expect brilliant screenplay in this genre, but it does seem a bit of editing wouldn't have been amiss in this one. James Welch Henderson Arkansas. 5/8/21.
I rated it 3 - 1 for the handsome guy 1 a for the snow and well the last one was for the effort
I enjoyed it,probably not everyone will,Has depth in story,of how hard it can be for people to see themselves,
I really enjoy movies like this where I don't have to worry about uncomfortable scenes of sex or violence. The acting was very good and the actors were very likeable. I don't know why this movie has such a low rating. It's very family friendly and delivers entertainment.
It's a lightweight, fairly decent movie if you like powderpuff pieces about horrible, vacuous, unpleasant, unkind, rich women who change the habits of a lifetime within a few weeks, all because they find the right man (and maybe god), this is the movie for you. The acting is passable, although not wonderful. The female lead seems several years too old for the role and for her behaviour. Also it would have been nice if someone had told her to cut the last 6 inches of dry, split ends from her hair. I was going to give it 4 stars but took off 2 of them because too much god at the end.
A fairly predictable movie, but it's probably what you wanted to see if you tuned it in. And it serves its purpose and satisfies your "feel good movie" craving. It works. Shona Kay is stunning of course and delivers a solid performance here. My only complaint is the sound. The music overpowers the dialog constantly. In many scenes, changing camera angles introduced a noticeable echo mid sentence. In short, the sound quality is terrible.
