You possibly never saw the Bob Hope/Bing Crosby films where, when they had painted themselves into a corner, they would shout "Special Effects!" And be magically transported to the next scene. Here, it's seemingly done with a torch/flashlight. It's a pretty pathetic effort with some pretty bad acting. I could sympathise with the actors having to put up with such bad, cheap scenes. Pass on this one and try something else.
Is it possible that such cheap and bad films are being made today, the cast is bad, the production, the script that even children can't soak, mostly one of the worst films of all time
Pathetic B grade hopeless movie. Do not even bother to watch or download. Coompletely ignore this movie. Its was then hopeless, its pathetic

Ane (Ryan Wesen ) stumbles upon a teleporter while jacking a car. The government wants it back at all costs and can follow its magnetic signature. Dane ends up with a girl (Laura James) in a plot with wholes you can drive a truck through. This is a kid's film. It reminded me of "Zapped" without the nudity. It appears they sent out feelers at the end for a sequel. When did a Miami boy learn to snowboard like a pro? He stole cars that should have worked into the ending but didn't. Guide: No swearing, sex, or nudity.
This has to be one of the worst movies I ever attempted to watch. The first car chase scene is stolen from Bad Boys 2. The parking garage with all the same cars. I dought they were able to get permission to use a scene from a movie as big as bad boys so they are gonna get sued... that's the scene where martins sister is getting chased when the deal goes bad and Martin Lawrence and will Smith chase behind the bad guys in muscle cars in his Maserati. They used all the muscle cars and took all the crash scenes...
At first as I watched I thought to myself... man this is cheesy. But after 30 minutes I realized that this is what they were going for. Low budget 80's or 90's theme sci-fi that, although the acting and visuals were low budget, the actual story was pretty cool. reminded me a bit of back to the future... 5.5
Spoiler Alert: So this movie stole the entire Bad Bad 2 chase scene with Gabrielle Union out the parking deck. Really? I was done with the movie after that. No originality!!!
So, you have John James and Maxwell Caulfield of Dynasty (soap opera) fame. Caulfield looks amazing for his age, as if it's been ~10 years since Dynasty, not >30; James not so much, but he still has those peculiar eyebrows, so it's an interesting trip down the memory lane. There's also Sean Young, of Blade Runner and The Dune fame (and that's just iconic sci-fi movies, she was actually quite hot in the 80s and played in a lot of stuff then). She doesn't look good at all, but, it's interesting to see her playing in another sci-fi movie, however terrible it is. And then there's Flash Gordon himself, Sam J Jones. That alone is enough to make a movie interesting. There should have been some spoofs of Flash Gordon, but, then it would have been maybe not a terrible movie, yet it's as if someone wanted this to be bad. At long last, Laura James, the daughter of John James, has a very interesting combination of cute and hot. Like a little less pretty Olivia Wilde, but with a much better body. The way she towers the protagonist of the movie, without even wearing heels, is very effective. So, it's a very strange movie; terrible, yet worth seeing for a very unique and interesting cast (who actually seem to be having a good time doing this), if you remember or simply like the sci-fi and soap operas of the 80s.
