As a Georgian, i am proud for this movie, beautifully done and very very close to the Georgian reality. its not a movie about gays but also about the social-economical issues and problems among youth. i loved how soflty levan akin touched the clubbing culture. Levan and bacho did amazing job as well and risked a lot just by acting in this movie. go and watch if you have the chance. p.s. some of the jokes or the expressions gonna be probably not fully understandable for non-georgians but still 10/10 💥

Don't believe Soviet/Russian trolls here giving this 1 star. They haven't even seen the movie. See and judge for yourself! Best Georgian movie ever made!!!!

I absolutely LOVED this movie. It conveys such an important message... You can clearly see how taboo the topic of LGBTQ+ is in Georgia, but it doesn't show how humiliating it can be at times. That's how Levan Akin kept a perfect balance, not overdoing it and symbolizing it. I like the fact that it breaks those stereotypes. YOu can feel each and every characters' emotions. You can feel the tension, love and sadness. The ending was kind of sad but also very realistic, as it's very common for closeted people. At the very end, Merab did amazing and I really liked it. Hope we can all unite one day, I want Georgia to become less homophobic, generous and more open-minded. It's a win for the gays hehe. This movie deserves an Oscar. PERIODT. And those trolls who gave it 1/10 stars deserve no rights...my favorite movie of 2019. 10/10 would recommend. Didn't get a chance to buy the cinema tickets bc it sold out so fast!! And the protests tho... Pathetic. Anygays good luck!! Hope ATWD wins many, many awards!

So close to Georgian reality, i felt like i was back in Tbilisi again, which i absolutely loved. So much representation for the culture, in a way that highlights the good parts and also touches on the bad parts that need to be improved, or disposed of. the storyline is wonderful! the buildup for the romance is amazing and well-developed. The actors are phenomenal, i felt literally every emotion they felt. I absolutely loved the metaphor of Kintouri, that Merab & Irakli dance together. the music!!! is so good!!! In conclusion, the movie is wonderful and literally everyone needs to watch it. Huge Shoutouts to the actors and Levan Akin for creating this story and putting it out there in the world. Much Love from Sakartvelo (Georgia)

During the movie, it has three different stories, but it does not focus on any one of them, instead it just tell a little of each, and then drops ending with no conclusion. Afterwards it felt like you had seen a weaker version of '' Call me by your name '' This film is doubtful to win best foreign movie, if even getting nominated.
