source: American Pie 7: The Book of Love
It's just fun !!! Crazy characters who do actually finny stuff ...just watch
Not as good as the main series or some of the presents movies but it doesn't make me want to tear my eyes out when i watch it so i'l leave it at that.
Seriously, the movie isn't that bad as I read, but it does lack good, old American Pie jokes, indeed. I was surprised to see that the plot isn't very different to other American Pie plots. I must say that all the jokes are straight, nothing ironic or funny, just banal things. This Stifler is the worst Stifler I've seen, considering Erik Stifler wasn't a hit either. To be honest, Seann William Scott did his role quite good, the others, excluding Dwight, just try to be like Steven, but this Stifler is the worst. This movie totally disappointed me, I would rate the whole American Pie with the grade 7 just for this awful movie. It disappointed me because the others were very funny and entertaining, but it isn't the worst movie I have seen. Not very entertaining, stupid, barely existing jokes, Hollywood clichés about the high school life and trying to get laid. We may not all have a girlfriend, but no one is that much of an idiot to do what this guys are doing. 5/10
This movie is easily one of worst spinoff films in history, the original "American Pie" was great, it had almost everything there needed to be in a comedy film. This movie is completely the opposite of what you expect of a comedy film, it has silly comedy, weak storyline, annoying characters and cliche scenes which you've seen many times in other movies only with better acting environment.
The story is about three hapless virgins in high school who are desperate in getting laid. Everyone here is new except Noah Levenstein. One day, one of them accidentally found the so called, Book Of Love (The Bible) in the library. Blah blah blah..the whole story turns out boring. Two of three lead actors weren't good actors. They try to be but failed. The other one was OK though(the one who found the bible). There is also a Stifler in this movie called Scott. Like many Stiflers he is an arrogant snob. Somehow, the actor didn't execute it right. It would be better if they'd choose another actor. I don't think it deserves to be called an American Pie movie. It is disappointing. The plot itself is kind of boring. Boring plot + crappy actors = worst American Pie movie yet
This is the worst American Pie movie out of all. It makes band camp look like an Oscar material. It is painful to watch. The movie contains another previously unmentioned Stifler, but this one is different from previous ones and doesn't fit the character at all. The actor is also completely off point. It's like someone who's never seen any American Pie movies decided to write his script.
Q: How many scenes with bare tits did we have on the number 6 of the American Pie squeeze-out? A: ehrm, five, mister money-making producer. Then make it seven in this thing! And make up something that can justify that we call it American pie! And so it were. A truckload of breasts (not bad for a teen movie, I must admit. And I'm glad to see how they parted from the apparent"silicone only"-track from the earlier movies). And some vague connection to the infamous "Book of Love" and Jim's farther, the untireable Eugene Levy. But what a weak film. Not worthy of the name, I must say. The laughs are all of the over-the-top style, which is very different from the earlier films, which were much more embarrassment-based, thus creating laughs alongside with building sympathy for the main characters. This is completely lost, and makes for 1 ½ hours + with seldom laughs and characters you don't care about. Even spiked with a load of *, it's a cocktail not worth drinking.
