In December 2010, Dolph faced Johnny Curtis. Dolph dodged the leg drop and hit Curtis with the Zig Zag to win the match. A week later, Dolph was in a battle royal. R-Truth eliminated Ricardo Rodriguez. Dolph eliminated Daniel Bryan. Ted DiBiase eliminated Truth. Then Dolph eliminated Ted and Chris Masters to win the match.
