Set during the 1997 general election 'Scandal In 97' follows Bertie Oldcross, Labour's candidate for Scarborough and Whitby, and his campaign manager Simon, as they attempt to cover up a crime on the eve of polling day.

I certainly was not expecting this. A real treat, great acting, tense plot, edgey. It became like one of those books you can't put down, glued till the end. Loved it! 👍
Strong performances and creative direction. Gripping from the start and flies by at a brisk 85 minutes!
This is an appalling film. The script is awful, the acting is worse, and the Director can't even get little details right, like the car number plate (55 plate for an event that happened in 1997). The procedure at the count is wrong - it's all wrong! And to think I paid £5.49 on Sky Store to watch this rubbish!
