This is when Kane blamed Rey Mysterio for everything. In July 2010, Jack Swagger wanted to break Kane’s ankle, Rey appeared and saved him with the 619. At Money in the Bank, Kane won the briefcase and Rey retained the World Heavyweight Title against Swagger. Swagger attacked him, Kane appeared and took him backstage. Then Kane cashed in his briefcase and hit Rey with the Tombstone to win the title. On Smackdown, Rey faced Swagger in a two out of three falls match for a chance at the title. Swagger wouldn’t let go of Rey, he got disqualified and it was 1-0 for Rey. Swagger tapped out Rey to make it even. Then Rey caught Swagger with a crucifix pin to win the match. Swagger attacked Rey, Kane came out for the save and raised Rey’s hand. Kane was leaving, he changed his mind and went after Rey. Kane caught him, went for a chokeslam, Rey countered him and hit him with the 619. A week later, Kane talked about The Undertaker, who was in a vegetative state. He said he woke up after two months and managed to say the name of his assailant. It was Rey. Later that night, Rey faced Swagger in a no DQ match. They got out of the arena, Swagger wanted to throw Rey into the water, who countered him and threw him into the water with the Hurracarrana. Kane appeared and threw Rey into the water with a chokeslam. Next week, Rey talked about what happened last week and about Kane’s accusation. He didn’t have anything to do with Taker’s attack, calling Kane delusional and loco. Rey knew who attacked Taker and when he was about to say who, Drew McIntyre interrupted him and challenged him to a match. Kane promised he’ll put Rey in a casket and his vengeance will revive Taker. Then Rey beat McIntyre. Kane appeared with the casket and Drew attacked Rey from behind. Rey instantly ran away from Kane and almost got into the casket.
