Antonio Martínez is an old-fashioned cab driver who rides around Madrid, boasting about his children: Juan, who shares his job as a cab driver; Luisa, a ladies' hairdresser, Antoñito, who is studying to be a lawyer, and Paloma, who is going to be a housewife. But what Antonio does not know... yet is that his children are not exactly the way he thinks: Paloma who wants to marry a city policeman (a living nightmare for the poor driver !); Juan who is a cheeky guy leading a dissolute life; Antoñito who wants to be a bullfighter; and Luisa, who is a... go-go girl.The day Antonio finds out, he confronts his wife and children and suffers a great disappointment. Since then no one in the family speaks to Antonio, and he thinks it best to leave them to see for themselves that they have made a mistake, but this will not work either, since each one will see their problems increase.
