تدور أحداث الفيلم حول العلاقة التي تجمع بين أستاذ جامعي باركر ويلسون (ريتشارد جير) وبين أحد الكلاب الضالة الذي وجد طريقه نحوه قدومًا من اليابان، عندما يجده بالصدفة في محطة القطار ويأخذه معه للعيش في منزله ومع عائلته، وتتوثق بينهما العلاقة ﻷقصى درجة.

one of the best that I've ever seen "Hachi:A Dog's Tale"
this is a sad movie but loyalty place in here perfectly. a dog not told that its owner died waits 10 years for his return and died were they use to meet...love it
the movie is so emotional I really cried so hard and the movie is interesting it teaches how a dog is royal to his dad
It's an incredibly lovely sad movie....loved every part of it.
So touching on how a dog could be so loyal to its owner even in death.
